This piece was created several years ago. It began in a class with Peg Laflam. We were shown how to marble canvas and proceeded to create our own design. It was fun to see the different patterns develop from the paint blobs that were dropped onto the water and then manipulated. Next step was to choose a marbled canvas and stitch. Underwater pictures and others were available for design inspiration.
My piece was mostly completed, but I had an idea for framing. I tried in vain to find a framer who could carry out my idea. In the main while the piece would disappear into my stash of unfinished pieces and resurface every now and then, again looking for a framer. I finally found one in 2024.
