1st Place, Professional Non-Original without Instruction

I was fascinated by the variety of bright colored flowers in this canvas and the challenge to stitch them. Stitches for the flowers included Buttonhole, Bullions, Web, Gathering, and Skip Tent. Many of the petals were stitched using silk ribbon and the beak was covered with beads.
