Honorable Mention, Non-Professional Non-Original with Instruction

This canvas grabbed my attention mostly because of the woodland animals surrounding Santa. I liked that the canvas varied from the traditional Christmas scene. I also chose this canvas because it was designed/panted by Liz, and I find that Liz canvases are impeccably painted and don’t require alteration. There wasn’t a stitch guide for this canvas; threads and stitches were chosen with the help of Kathy Stolpin, teacher at The Needleworks. My favorite stitch was the Or Nué on the top border and around Santa’s robe.
