Honorable Mention, Non-Professional Non-Original with Instruction

This was pure fun to stitch and relevant as well since I have two black cats! This was done in my first canvas embellishing class with Debbie Stiehler who had wonderful suggestions for enhancing the design with stitches and threads. The worm/caterpillar climbing the stem was needed to cover the signature of the artist that was written up the stem. I added the leather collars that are reminiscent of the collars our cats wore as kittens when we could not easily tell the difference between the two. (Designer: Lori Everett)
