“The Other Shoe” is a companion piece to “No Spells Tonight”, which is another of my Halloween shoe designs. I wanted to create another shoe pointing in the opposite direction, taller and including an argyle pattern, a web and beaded spider. In addition, I wanted to find a way to include one of my favorite stitches, Branscombe Edge, and use silk ribbon as laces coming in/out of eyelets.
