2005 NAN Lifetime Achievement Awardee

Fay T. Andrews was a teacher, designer and lecturer who held certification through the Valentine Museum and NAN, including Honors. At the conclusion of her Level II certification her certification piece, Pegasus, was accessioned into the NAN Permanent Collection and she was awarded the Louise Downing Scholarship to complete Honors. She was the founding president of NAN, and served as NAN’s Director of Teachers’ Certification, Director of Education, and Treasurer. She taught nationally for ANG, EGA, Valentine/NAN Assembly, Callaway Gardens and Elsa Williams. Her teaching also included chapter and regional seminars for EGA and International Organization of Lace, Inc. (IOLI) affiliated guilds.
