2009 Lifetime Achievement Awardee

Judy Jeroy is an EGA-certified teacher of Crewel and Canvas embroidery as well as a Certified Teacher Graduate and a Certified Needlework Judge. She has her Master Craftsman in Crewel and in Canvas and has served on the faculty of numerous national and region seminars. Judy served as president of Tidewater Virginia EGA Chapter in the Mid-Atlantic Region twice, 1980 and 1998. She has been EGA Mid-Atlantic Region Director, EGA President 1991-93, Embroidery Editor of Needle Arts Magazine 1994-97, EGA Seminar 1998 Chairman, and EGA Seminar 2006 Faculty Dean. She has also served as chairman of the EGA Crewel Master Craftsman Program and Administrator of Education Programs for EGA. Judy is the author of Creative Crewel Embroidery, published by Lark Books in 1998 and was one of the original members of Fiber Forum in 1992.
