2nd Place, Professional Non-Original Without Instruction

My garden hobbyist husband delighted to see these creatures on a painted canvas by Melissa Shirley. It was a fun piece to stitch. The challenge was to find different stitches for each animal; basketweave with velvet, interlocking Gobelin, knots, and long and short. The background is horizontal medieval mosaic and the dirt was stitched with an overdyed floss in serendipity.
