Honorable Mention, Non-Professional Non-Original with Instruction

It was easy to choose Kathy Rees to teach at our local guild, which is about 100 members strong (i.e. lots of opinions!) But choosing among her many wonderful pieces was a real challenge for the Programs Committee. As a member of that committee, I made the suggestion that each member of our guild vote for her favorite Kathy Rees’ piece from a selection chosen by the Programs Committee. Interest was high and there was some serious voting going on! Oasis was right at the top!

Next, each participant had to choose among the nine different colorways. Rainforest had all my favorite colors, so my choice was easy. It was fun to see how the different colorways influenced the look and feel of the different pieces.
